About Us.

We are a unique learning academy dedicated to enriching the educational journey of young Muslim learners in Australia. By integrating the foundational principles of Islam with the dynamic fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM), we provide an education that is both enriching and relevant to the modern world.

Our approach aims to equip children with both the knowledge, and the interpersonal skills necessary for their growth as Muslims in Australia. The programs at That Kid Thing integrate STEAM education with Islamic teachings and practices, providing a holistic educational experience that nurtures well-rounded, confident, and knowledgeable young Muslim learners.

That Kid Thing’s lessons are perfectly suited for both the home environment, supporting homeschooling and parent-led enrichment, and the classroom, offering teachers a dynamic substitute for more traditional lessons.

Thinking.

This is the thought process and innovative ideas that spark within young minds. At That Kid Thing, we emphasise the importance of fostering curiosity and critical thinking. Our programs are designed to ignite imagination and inspire students to explore new concepts and ideas, laying the groundwork for a lifelong love of learning.

Doing.

A representation of being hands-on, highlighting the act of doing and putting thoughts into action. We believe in the power of experiential learning, where students actively engage with their environment. Through our STEAM-based workshops and activities, children are encouraged to experiment, build, and problem-solve, bridging the gap between theory and practice.

Creating.

Creativity is at the heart of our approach, as we integrate art and design into our curriculum. This not only allows students to express themselves but also to see the beauty in combining different fields of knowledge. By nurturing creativity, we help children develop into well-rounded, confident individuals ready to make a positive impact on their world.

Join us at That Kid Thing, where we prepare young Muslim learners to become confident, knowledgeable, and ethically grounded individuals, ready to contribute to their community and the world at large. Our mission is to nurture these future leaders and innovators who will carry forward the torch of learning with pride and purpose.
